d. Under Original Type, select one of the following:
• Photo and Text
• Photo

• Graphics
e. Under File Format, select one of the following:
• Multi-page TIFF
• Single-page TIFF
• JPEG
• BMP
• GIF
f. Under Sides to Scan, select one of the following:
• 1 Sided
• 2 Sided
• 2 Sided, Rotate Side 2
3. Click the Send image directly to Folder option. This option allows you to send the scanned images
directly to a designated folder without first viewing the images.
4. To create a unique file name for the scanned images in the thumbnail view, click the Base File
Name field, then type a file name.
The Xerox

Scan Utility adds the scan date and time information for each image to the end of the
file name.
5. Under Save to Folder, do one of the following to specify the destination folder:
• Type the path to the folder.
• Click Browse to locate the folder.
